What is the merchant app?

The merchant app is a mobile-friendly app for store staff to manage incoming orders in real time. It runs on any phone, tablet, or Sunmi device and sends sound alerts and push notifications when new orders arrive.

Installing the app

The merchant app is a web app that can be installed on your device like a native app:

  1. Open the merchant app URL in your mobile browser (Chrome on Android, Safari on iPhone).

  2. You will see a prompt to "Add to Home Screen" or "Install". Tap it.

  3. The app will be added to your home screen and will open in full-screen mode, just like a regular app.

Logging in

Use the same email and password that you use for the dashboard. After logging in, the app will automatically connect to your store.

Key features

  • New orders — see pending orders and accept or decline them with one tap.

  • Scheduled orders — view orders scheduled for later with countdown timers.

  • Active orders — track orders through preparation and delivery.

  • Done — review completed and cancelled orders from today.

  • Store control — open, close, or pause your store and individual services.

  • Menu control — quickly toggle menu items on or off if you run out of an ingredient.

Sound and notifications

The app plays a sound alert when a new order comes in, and your device will vibrate. You can customise the alert sound and volume in the app settings. Enable push notifications so you get alerted even when the app is in the background.
