Managing Orders in the Dashboard

The orders page

The Orders page shows all your orders organised by status tabs: Pending, Confirmed, Preparing, Ready, Delivering, Completed, and Cancelled.

Order workflow

Every order follows this flow:

  1. Pending — the order has just come in and is waiting for you to accept it.

  2. Confirmed — you have accepted the order.

  3. Preparing — the kitchen is making the order.

  4. Ready — the order is ready for pickup or delivery.

  5. Delivering — (delivery orders only) the order is on its way.

  6. Completed — the order has been delivered or picked up.

You can also cancel an order from any active status.

Updating order status

Click on an order to open its detail view. Use the status buttons to advance the order to the next stage. For example, click "Start Preparing" to move a confirmed order to the preparing stage.

Order details

The order detail view shows everything about the order:

  • Customer name, phone, and email

  • Order type (pickup, delivery, or dine-in) and scheduled time

  • All items with sizes, modifiers, and special requests

  • Payment method and amounts (subtotal, delivery fee, tip, discount, total)

  • Order timeline showing when each status change happened

Searching and filtering

Use the search bar to find orders by order number, customer name, or phone number. Use the status tabs to filter by order status.
