Managing Orders in the Merchant App

Real-time order management

The merchant app is designed for fast, hands-on order management. When a new order arrives, a full-screen takeover shows the order details with accept and decline buttons, along with a sound alert.

Order tabs

  • New — pending orders waiting for your response. Accept or decline with one tap.

  • Later — scheduled future orders, sorted by their scheduled time. Colour-coded countdown timers show how soon each order needs to be prepared.

  • Active — confirmed, preparing, ready, and delivering orders. Tap to update their status.

  • Done — today's completed and cancelled orders.

Updating status

Tap an order to see its full details. Use the status buttons to move it forward: Accept > Start Preparing > Mark Ready > Out for Delivery > Complete.

Cancelling orders

To cancel an order, tap it to open the detail view and select the cancel option. You will be asked to provide a reason for cancellation. If the customer paid by card, the payment will be automatically refunded.

Store controls

From the Store tab in the merchant app, you can:

  • Close your store — with a reason (e.g., "Kitchen too busy", "Short staffed"). The reason is shown to customers on your storefront.

  • Pause specific services — pause pickup, delivery, or dine-in independently while keeping the others running.

  • Set a pause timer — pause for a set period and the store will automatically reopen.
