What is the KDS?
The Kitchen Display System is a full-screen view designed to be shown on a screen in your kitchen. It shows all active orders in a clear, at-a-glance format so your kitchen staff can see what needs to be prepared without touching any buttons.
Setting up the KDS
Go to Settings > Operations in your dashboard.
Copy the KDS link provided.
Open the link on a tablet or screen in your kitchen.
The KDS link does not require a login — it is a secure, dedicated link for your store only.
What the KDS shows
Each order appears as a card showing:
Order number
Order type (pickup, delivery, dine-in)
Customer name
Table number (for dine-in orders)
All items with sizes and modifiers clearly listed
Special notes and removed ingredients
A colour-coded timer showing how long the order has been waiting
Timer colours
Green — order is within normal preparation time (under 8 minutes).
Yellow — order is taking longer than usual (8-15 minutes).
Red — order is overdue (15+ minutes) and pulses to get attention.
Auto-refresh
The KDS updates automatically as new orders come in and existing orders are completed. No manual refresh needed.
