Customise your customer messages
Notification templates control the wording of automated messages sent to customers when their order status changes.
Available templates
You can customise messages for each order event:
Order confirmed
Order being prepared
Order ready for pickup
Order out for delivery
Order completed
Order cancelled
Editing templates
Go to Settings > Notifications.
Click on the template you want to edit.
Modify the message text.
Save your changes.
Template variables
Templates support variables that are automatically replaced with order-specific information. For example, the customer's name, order number, and estimated time can be inserted into your messages.
Best practices
Keep messages short and clear — customers want to know their order status, not read an essay.
Include relevant details like estimated pickup/delivery time.
Use a friendly, on-brand tone that matches your restaurant's personality.
