Managing store availability
You can close your store temporarily at any time from the merchant app or dashboard. This immediately prevents customers from placing new orders.
From the merchant app
Go to the Store tab.
Tap "Close Store".
Select a reason from the presets ("Kitchen too busy", "Short staffed", "Equipment issue", etc.) or type a custom reason.
Your store is immediately closed and customers see your close reason.
Reopening
To reopen, go to the Store tab and tap "Open Store". Your storefront immediately starts accepting orders again.
Pausing instead of closing
If you only need to pause certain services, use the pause feature instead:
Pause just delivery during a rush while keeping pickup running.
Set a timer (e.g., pause for 30 minutes) and the service will automatically resume.
What customers see
Closed store — customers see a closed message with your reason. They can still browse your menu but cannot place orders.
Paused service — only the paused service type is disabled. Other services remain available.
