Understanding Order Types

Pickup orders

The customer places their order online and comes to your store to collect it. They receive a notification when their order is ready. Pickup orders typically have no delivery fee.

Delivery orders

You deliver the order to the customer's address. The delivery fee is calculated based on the customer's delivery zone. Orders show the full delivery address on the order detail view and receipt.

Dine-in orders

Customers order from their table — usually by scanning a QR code on the table. The order shows the table number so your staff knows where to bring the food. No delivery fee applies.

Identifying order types

Each order in your dashboard and merchant app is clearly labelled with its type and a corresponding icon. Delivery orders show the delivery address, dine-in orders show the table number, and pickup orders show a pickup badge.

Service-specific settings

Each service type has its own settings for preparation time, auto-status rules, custom checkout fields, and customer notes. Configure these in Settings > Services.
