Telegram Emergency Controls let you instantly pause or resume all your stores using a Telegram bot — no need to open the dashboard. This is perfect for emergencies like power outages, staff shortages, or equipment failures when you need to stop taking orders immediately.

Go to Maintenance in the reseller dashboard

In the Telegram Emergency Controls card, enter a 4–8 digit PIN

This PIN protects your stores from unauthorized changes. Keep it secure and memorable.

After saving your PIN, click Generate Link Code

A 6-character code will appear (e.g. <code>A3F7K9</code>)

Open Telegram and search for @SpatulaEmergencyBot

Send the message: <code>LINK A3F7K9</code> (using your code)

You'll receive a confirmation message once linked

When you send <code>STOP</code>, all stores are paused until midnight in your timezone (AEST by default)

Paused stores show a maintenance message to customers on the storefront

You can resume at any time with <code>RESUME</code>

Your PIN is required for STOP and RESUME to prevent unauthorized use

To disconnect your Telegram from the dashboard:

1. Go to Maintenance in the reseller dashboard
2. Click the Unlink Telegram button
3. Confirm the action

You can re-link at any time by generating a new link code.
