What are milestone messages?

Milestone messages celebrate a customer's loyalty by showing a special note when they hit a meaningful order count. By default, customers see a message at their tenth, twenty-fifth and fiftieth orders. The note appears on their order confirmation screen and can include a thank-you message or a small reward such as a coupon code.

Setting up milestones

  1. Open the Experiential section of your dashboard.

  2. Choose Milestone Messages.

  3. Edit the message shown for each milestone (10, 25, 50 orders).

  4. Optionally attach a coupon code to a milestone — for example, a free side at order 25.

  5. Save your changes.

How customers see them

When a customer places the order that hits a milestone, the confirmation screen shows your custom message in a celebratory banner. If you have attached a coupon, it is delivered by SMS or email so they can use it on their next order.

Tips

  • Make your messages personal — mention how long the customer has been ordering.

  • Reserve real rewards for the bigger milestones so they feel earned.

  • Keep an eye on how many milestones are being hit each week in your analytics page.
