What is the confirmation screen?
After a customer places an order, they land on a confirmation screen showing their order number and tracking. You can customise the headline and the supporting text on this screen so customers see your voice, your humour and any extra information you want to share — pickup directions, parking notes or a reminder to follow you on social media.
Setting up custom messages
Open the Experiential section of your dashboard.
Choose Confirmation Screen.
Write a custom headline (for example, 'Your dinner is on its way!').
Write a custom subtext (for example, 'We will text you when it leaves the kitchen.').
Save your changes.
Things to mention on the confirmation screen
How customers will be kept up to date (text messages, email or both).
Where to park if it is a pickup order, or which entrance to use.
What to do if they need to make a change — usually a quick phone call works best.
A friendly thank you in your own voice.
Tip
Keep the headline punchy and the subtext under three sentences. Customers usually only glance at the screen before closing the tab.
