What is the quiet night campaign?
The quiet night campaign automatically detects slow trading periods and sends a small promotion to your recent customers, encouraging them to order. It runs in the background, so a quiet Tuesday evening can turn into a busier one without you lifting a finger.
How quiet nights are detected
The system looks at the same day of the week over the previous few weeks and compares today's order count. If the night is trending well below your usual pace, it qualifies as a quiet night. You can adjust the sensitivity so promotions only trigger when the gap is significant.
Setting it up
Open the Experiential section of your dashboard.
Choose Quiet Night Campaign.
Switch the campaign on.
Choose how big the dip needs to be before a promotion is sent.
Pick the message to send (for example, '20% off mains tonight only').
Set a daily cap so customers do not get repeat messages within a short window.
Save your changes.
Tips
Use a coupon that is genuinely useful but does not erode your margin too far.
Limit the campaign to certain days if some nights are intentionally quiet (for example, family evenings).
Review which nights triggered the campaign in your reports so you can spot patterns.
