What is the floor plan editor?
The floor plan editor lets you build a visual map of your venue, showing where each table sits, the size of each table, and which section it belongs to. The map is used in your bookings dashboard so staff can quickly see what is free, what is taken, and where each guest is seated.
Building your floor plan
Open Bookings in your dashboard.
Choose Floor Plan.
Drag table shapes from the toolbar onto the canvas.
Resize each table by dragging its edges.
Set the table number, capacity and section using the side panel.
Add objects such as walls, bars and entrances to make the map easier to read.
Save your floor plan.
Sections
Sections group tables together — for example, 'Window', 'Bar' or 'Outdoor'. Sections help you assign servers and report on busiest areas. Create sections in the side panel and drop tables into them.
Multiple floors or rooms
If your venue has more than one room or floor, create a floor plan for each one. Switch between them using the tabs at the top of the editor.
Tips
Match the layout to real life. Staff will use this map every shift, so accuracy matters.
Update the plan whenever you rearrange the venue.
Print your floor plan and pin it near the host stand for quick reference during service.
