What is the returning customer greeting?
The returning customer greeting is a friendly welcome that appears on your storefront when a customer who has ordered from you before returns. It lets you recognise loyal customers and create a warm experience from the moment they land on your site.
What customers see
When a logged-in customer with prior orders visits your storefront, a small banner appears with a personalised message such as Welcome back, Sarah, or your custom variant. The greeting auto-dismisses after a short time so it doesn't get in the way.
How to enable it
Open the dashboard and go to Settings, then the Experiential or Storefront section.
Find the Returning Customer Greeting setting.
Toggle it on and save.
Tips
Pair the greeting with Order My Usual to make returning customers feel instantly at home.
Keep messages warm but brief — customers are usually here to order, not to read.
If you want different greetings for different times of day, combine this with Time-of-Day Greetings.
