Saved Customer Delivery Addresses

What are saved delivery addresses?

When a customer enters a delivery address at checkout, it's saved to their account. Next time they order, they can pick the address from a list instead of typing it again.

What customers see

At the address step of checkout, returning customers see a list of their previously used addresses with friendly labels like Home or Work. Tapping an address fills it in instantly, and they can edit or remove old addresses from their account page.

Address validation

Saved addresses are still validated against your delivery zones each time. If a customer has moved or you've changed your zones, the storefront will let them know the saved address is now out of range and ask them to choose a different one.

Privacy

Each customer only sees their own saved addresses. You don't manage these directly — they're tied to the customer's account.

Tips

  • Encourage customers to create an account at checkout so addresses are remembered.

  • If a customer reports the wrong address being saved, ask them to remove it from their account page and re-enter the correct one.

  • Pair this with delivery address autocomplete to make first-time entry just as fast.
