Customising Your Receipt Layout

Written by Dazza

What this is

The receipt editor lets you control what prints on every order ticket — your logo, business details, footer message, ABN, and paper width. A live preview shows what each receipt will look like before you save.

Where to find it

Go to Settings → Printer & Receipts in the dashboard. Each store has its own receipt layout.

What you can customise

  • Header — your store name, address, phone, and ABN.

  • Logo — upload a logo to print at the top of each receipt.

  • Footer message — a short thank-you note, social handles, or website URL.

  • QR code — print a QR code that links to your storefront, review page, or loyalty signup.

  • Paper width — switch between 58 mm and 80 mm to match your printer.

  • Order details — choose whether to show modifiers, special instructions, customer name, and order type.

Saving and previewing

  1. Make your changes — the live preview updates as you type.

  2. Run a test print to see how it looks on real paper before going live.

  3. Tap Save. New orders use the updated layout straight away.

Tips

  • Keep the footer short — long footers waste paper and slow down printing.

  • If your logo prints faintly, try a higher-contrast black-and-white version.

  • Use 80 mm paper for busier kitchens — wider receipts are easier to read across the pass.
