What this is
The test print button sends a sample receipt to your kitchen printer so you can confirm it's connected, paired, and printing the layout you want — without needing a live order.
How to send a test print
Go to Settings → Printer & Receipts in the dashboard.
Confirm the correct printer is selected.
Tap Send test print.
Within a few seconds, a sample receipt should print at your kitchen printer.
What the test print shows
Your current header, logo, and footer.
Sample order lines, modifiers, and special instructions.
Paper-width sample so you can confirm 58 mm or 80 mm is set correctly.
Your printer reference details for support.
If the test print doesn't appear
Check the printer is switched on and paired with the correct 6-digit code.
Make sure the printing tablet or device is online and signed in.
Open a new roll of paper if the printer is low.
Re-pair the printer if the device is showing as disconnected.
