What this is
Spatula offers two menu layouts on your storefront — Classic and Image Grid. You can switch between them at any time without changing your menu data.
Classic layout
Lists products as horizontal rows with a small image, name, description, and price. This works well for menus with lots of detail per item — ingredients, modifiers, and longer descriptions — and for cuisines like pizza or Asian food where customers want to read before they choose.
Image grid layout
Shows products as larger square tiles with the image taking centre stage, similar to popular delivery apps. This works best when your dishes look great on camera and customers tend to choose visually — burgers, bowls, desserts, or coffee.
How to switch layouts
Go to Settings → Storefront in the dashboard.
Find the Menu Layout setting.
Select Classic or Image Grid.
Save. The change appears on your storefront immediately.
Tips
If you use the image grid layout, make sure every product has a high-quality photo — empty tiles look unfinished.
Categories with mixed image quality often look better in classic layout.
Try both — view your storefront on a phone and a laptop to see which feels right for your menu.
