Setting Up Sizes and Variants

What are variants?

Variants (also called sizes) let you offer the same product in different sizes at different prices. For example, a pizza might come in Small, Medium, Large, and Family sizes.

Adding sizes to a product

  1. Open the product editor by clicking on a product in your menu.

  2. In the Sizes section, click "+ Add Size".

  3. Enter the size name (e.g., "Small") and its price.

  4. Add as many sizes as you need.

  5. Mark one size as the "Pre-selected" default — this is the size shown to customers before they make a selection.

How customers see sizes

When a customer opens the product, they see all available sizes as selectable options with their prices. The default size is pre-selected. Customers tap a different size to change their selection.

Size-specific modifiers

You can assign modifier groups to specific sizes rather than the whole product. For example, you might want "Extra Toppings" available only on Large and Family pizzas. Drag a modifier group onto a specific size row to assign it only to that size.

Tips

  • Order your sizes from smallest to largest — customers expect this.

  • If a product only comes in one size, you do not need to add variants at all. Just set the base price.

  • The pre-selected size should be your most popular option to streamline the ordering experience.
