What are menu pairings?
Menu pairings let you suggest items that go well together. When a customer adds a main to their cart, your storefront can show a 'Goes well with...' panel that recommends sides, drinks, sauces or desserts. Pairings encourage customers to round out their order and lift the average order value.
Setting up pairings
Open the Experiential section of your dashboard.
Choose Menu Pairings.
Select a base product (for example, a burger or pizza).
Add one or more recommended items (chips, soft drinks, garlic bread).
Save the pairing.
Where pairings appear
Pairings appear in two places. They show up on the product detail page underneath the description, and they appear in the cart drawer once the base item has been added. Customers can tap a suggestion to add it without leaving their current screen.
Tips
Pair items that are genuinely complementary — quality suggestions feel helpful, not pushy.
Refresh pairings seasonally so customers see something new.
Combine pairings with meal deals for the strongest uplift.
