What is bulk pausing by category?
Bulk pause lets you pause every product in a category at once instead of pausing each item individually. It's the fastest way to take a whole section of your menu offline temporarily — for example, when you've sold out of pizza dough and need to disable every pizza together.
When to use bulk pause
You've run out of a key ingredient that affects an entire category.
You're stopping lunch service and want to hide all lunch items.
A delivery hasn't arrived and a section of the menu can't be made.
How to bulk pause a category
Open the merchant app on your tablet or phone.
Tap the Menu tab.
Find the category you want to pause and tap the pause icon next to it.
Choose how long to pause for, or select Until I resume.
Confirm. Every product in the category is now hidden from the storefront.
Bulk pausing a single size across a category
If you only need to pause one size — for example, all Family pizzas because you've run out of large boxes — you can pause that size across every product in a category in one go. Open the category, choose the size, and pause.
Resuming
To bring everything back, tap the same category and select Resume. All paused products and sizes return to the storefront immediately.
